Young Eco-startups Confluence – Hyderabad: Catalyzing Collaboration and Investment in Sustainable Ventures
On 28th April 2024, the Centre for Global Affairs and Public Policy (CGAPP) and Indian Youth Climate Network (IYCN) jointly hosted the dynamic “Young Eco-startups Confluence” at T-Hub, Hyderabad. This gathering was dedicated to fostering collaboration and investment opportunities between innovative startups and potential investors in the sustainability sector.
The event witnessed an impressive turnout, with 100 individuals and 20 startups participating from major cities such as Delhi, Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Chennai. Among the attendees were startup founders, students, investors, and representatives from various incubators and accelerators, creating a diverse and vibrant ecosystem for sustainable innovation.
A key highlight of the confluence was the pitching session, where 12 startups presented their groundbreaking ventures to a distinguished panel of industry experts. The panel comprised Anindya Sengupta, Director at the Centre for Global Affairs and Public Policy; Vijay Bawra, Senior Director at T-Hub; Rohit Singh, Partner at SAMVEDANAM Consulting and Learning Solutions Pvt Ltd; and Vinutha Naga Rallapalli, Founder of The Funding Office.
The atmosphere at the confluence was charged with energy and enthusiasm as startups showcased their innovative solutions to address pressing environmental challenges. The event not only provided a platform for networking and collaboration but also paved the way for potential investments in sustainable ventures, driving forward the agenda of creating a greener and more resilient future.
The “Young Eco-startups Confluence – Hyderabad” exemplified the growing momentum and commitment within the startup ecosystem towards driving positive change through sustainable entrepreneurship.
