Young Eco-Startups Confluence: Fostering Innovation and Investment in Climate Solutions
On 18th February 2024, Indian Youth Climate Network, in collaboration with Centre For Global Affairs and Public Policy & Bharat Climate Startups, hosted a dynamic event called the Young Eco-Startups Confluence. Held at the vibrant India Accelerator Office, this confluence aimed to ignite collaboration and investment opportunities between innovative startups and eager investors.
The event saw a gathering of 75 individuals, including startup founders, students, investors, and representatives from various incubators and accelerators. Hailing from 10 different cities, 32 startups showcased their cutting-edge solutions and ideas.
A highlight of the confluence was the pitching session, where 12 startups presented their ventures to a distinguished panel. The panel featured industry leaders such as Anindya Sengupta, Director at the Centre For Global Affairs and Public Policy; Gunika Grover, Lead at India Accelerator; Abhishek Chauhan, CEO of SAMVEDANAM Consulting and Learning Solutions Pvt Ltd; and Shweta Dalmmia, Founder of Climapreneur.
The atmosphere was charged with enthusiasm and creativity as startups shared their visions for a greener future. The event not only provided a platform for networking and collaboration but also paved the way for potential investments in transformative climate solutions.
The Young Eco-Startups Confluence was a testament to the growing momentum and passion within the entrepreneurial community to address pressing environmental challenges with innovative and scalable solutions.
